Pickleball may be booming in India, but for players, the choices have been dismal: overpriced imports that don’t last, or local paddles that fall short of professional standards.

Enter Project 23

A brand built to change the game with world-class performance, durability, and design at a price players can trust.

The vision came from Joshua Menezes, a lifelong basketball player who stumbled into pickleball and was instantly hooked. Obsessed with how equipment shaped performance, he splurged on a premium international paddle. It played beautifully until it cracked within a month. Frustration quickly turned into clarity: players like him deserved better.

The gap was obvious, and the opportunity was wide open. Joshua envisioned a brand that blended quality, thoughtful design, and style made for everyone, from young newcomers to seasoned competitors.

Project 23. To bring it to life, he teamed up with designer Albaash, who transformed raw sketches and late-night ideas into a bold visual identity.

This is just the beginning. Every rally starts with a serve. For Project 23, this is the first one.
